And if you have something fascinating to post, maybe this email does everyone some good by getting it noticed. Let us know what you think when you get it. Your feedback will make it better as we go. Baldy & rudy1220. I finally did get my SP370 running way back in 2007, but.The recession hit, hard, my employment situation changed, and I couldn't justify (afford?) paying to title, tag, and insure it.
So, it sat in my garage another 7 years. In that time, the fuel went bad and clogged up the carb, etc. This past December 2014, with a little bit more money, but less time available, I took it to a local shop and told them to make it right. After 3 months, the shop called me yesterday and told me it was done. I pick it up next week. I'll try to figure out how to post pics.
The one thing the shop could not fix was the tachometer. Any clue on where to get a replacement tach, or get one repaired? Click to expand.Best bike in it's class? You're kidding. I owned one a few years ago. I believe it was a 77' model. Biggest piece of sh.t I've ever had And I have a building full of old(read vintage) stuff, including Suzuki's.

It was hard to start hot or cold (yes jetted properly) and if you could get past the fact it was a big ugly silver thing, it was ok on flat, easy trails. I'm a Suzuki guy(well when it comes to the Jap stuff) and the Yami XT 500 was by far a much better motorcycle. There was a reason the SP/DR 370 wasn't around long.
