I just bought a used Bandit 600 that did not come with the owners manual so I have been searching the internet for an electronic copy of it but all I can find are the Haynes manual and workshop manual. Does anyone know where I will or might find a copy of the owners manual; it is a 1996 model but I'm sure a manual for any generation of Bandit 600 will be similar. Also can anyone recommend a position for the tax disc; I'm not sure of the legal position requirements but I believe it has to be in front of the rider and I also seem to remember being told it must be on the left side of the bike. Workshop manual is a better investment than an owners manual. Made something a bit different for my Bandit, totally legal,tax disc should be on the left and the full regulation says forward of the rider though no one bothers as long as it is on the left.
